FILE 04 · The engagement

Five steps. Twenty-one days. One PDF that pays for itself in a quarter.

No discovery sprint. No strategy retainer. No quarterly review meetings stretching the engagement to six months. Two to three weeks from kickoff call to delivered document. Below: exactly what happens, who does what, and what you receive at the end.

  1. 01Day 1

    Kickoff call

    30 minutes · CMO + Johannes

A focused conversation with your CMO or marketing lead. We confirm the scope, identify the three to five competitors you want benchmarked, and align on the strategic questions the report should answer.

    • Confirm the brand, product line, or business unit in scope
    • Name three to five competitors for the topical benchmark
    • Identify the strategic question that matters most to your CMO
    • Confirm NDA, payment terms, and access provisioning
  2. 02Day 2–4

    Analytics ingestion

2–3 days · client provides access

We pull and normalize the data that establishes ground truth. Your team grants read-only access. We never ask for write permissions or admin roles. Data stays in our system only for the duration of the engagement.

    • Google Search Console – query data, page-level performance, position tracking
    • Web analytics – conversion paths, audience segments, behavior patterns
    • Ahrefs – traffic share by domain, organic competitor mapping
    • Existing persona work, if any, to identify what's already known
  3. 03Day 5–14

    Gap detection & mind modelling

7–10 days · the long phase

The longest phase, and the one nobody else does. Pattern recognition across your category, your competitors, your audience signals, and the gaps in public discourse. This is where seventeen years of systemic counselling and twenty-five years of campaign development converge into the report's analytical core.

    • Topical maps – what your category covers, what it doesn't, what it should
    • Competitor topical gaps – scored by relevance, prominence, popularity
    • ICP psychology – primary plus secondary profiles, with their fears and biases
    • Reframings – the language your category will use eighteen months from now
  4. 04Day 15–18

    Roadmap writing

3–5 days · turning analysis into action

Translation phase. Every insight from the previous step becomes a specific, implementable action – written in plain English, prioritized by impact versus effort, attributable to a specific function on your team.

    • Page rewrites – before/after copy for your highest-leverage landing pages
    • Sales call scripts – addressing the objections we identified in Layer 03
    • Content briefs – for the gap topics from Layer 02
    • 15 schema FAQ pairs – ready for FAQPage markup deployment
    • 15 social media posts – written in your voice, ready to publish
  5. 05Day 19–21

    Delivery & walk-through

30-min call · one revision round included

PDF delivered. A 30-minute walk-through call with your CMO and any team members who'll implement. One revision round included if specific sections need refinement. After that, your team owns the document and the roadmap. We're available for follow-up questions but the engagement formally closes.

    • 60–70 page PDF, navigable bookmarks for each team function
    • 15 schema FAQ pairs as a separate ready-to-deploy file
    • 15 social media posts as a separate scheduling-ready file
    • 30-minute walk-through call to align the team
    • One revision round, typically resolved within five business days
The exchange

What we ask for. What you receive.

A clear ledger. The asymmetry between what we need from your team and what your team gets back is intentional – this is what makes the report worth $2,750 instead of $27,500.

From your team

Four things, ten minutes of your CMO.

  • Read-only GSC and analytics access
  • 30 minutes of your CMO for the kickoff call
  • Three to five named competitors for benchmarking
  • Any existing persona work – so we don't duplicate it
  • 30 minutes of your CMO for the delivery walk-through
From us, to your team

A document that replaces three months of internal strategy work.

  • 60–70 page hand-crafted PDF
  • Layer 01: analytics ground truth
  • Layer 02: scored topical gap detection
  • Layer 03: ICP mind model with bias analysis
  • Layer 04: get-done-now roadmap
  • 15 schema FAQ pairs · 15 social posts
  • 30-minute walk-through · one revision round
The author's commitment

Why a single human runs every engagement.

The Systemic Report is not a templated audit. It is a hand-crafted document, built layer by layer over twenty-one days, by a single author with skin in the game.

Every report is written by Johannes Faupel personally. Not by an associate. Not by a junior strategist. Not by a Latin American outsourcing partner with a Frankfurt-stamped cover page. The pattern recognition that makes this report worth $2,750 is the part of the work that cannot be delegated.

AI is in the loop for analysis – for ingesting your analytics data, for processing topical maps, for surface-level pattern matching. But the determining subject of the report stays human. The synthesis, the reframings, the bias diagnoses, the language choices in the get-done-now roadmap – these are written by a human with seventeen years of systemic counselling experience and twenty-five years in campaign development.

This is also why the engagement scales linearly: one author, one engagement at a time, two to three weeks per engagement. We deliberately do not run multiple engagements in parallel – and we deliberately do not let the price drift, because the price already reflects the only honest constraint, which is human attention.

What this means for your timeline

If you commission today, your kickoff call is typically within 48 hours of payment confirmation. Your PDF arrives 21 days later. If our queue is full, we tell you the next available slot before you commit. We never accept an engagement we cannot deliver on time.

Twenty-one days from now, your team has a document. Or it doesn't.

The decision takes ten minutes of your CMO's calendar. The engagement takes three weeks. The compounding return runs for years.
